Less than half an hour to sell 3800 tickets, therefore filling the stand dedicated to Carlos Sainz at the 2024 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona scheduled to take place from June 21st to 23rd. Just like one year ago, this morning was a battle for those eagerly awaiting the Spanish F1 event, competing to be the fastest to click in the fight to secure tickets for the ‘Grada Sainz.’
At 9:00, it was possible to join the online ‘queue’ in a virtual ticket booth, and then at 10:00, ticket sales began. Before 10:30, Carlos Sainz thanked his followers on Twitter because the ‘Grada Sainz’ sold out once again in record time.
The offer was indeed very advantageous: for the price of 190 euros (plus 4.5 euros for commission fees), those who managed to get tickets received circuit access for all three days of the race weekend and also received two complimentary items, a cap and a flag dedicated to Carlos Sainz.
El Matador is the only driver to have won in Formula 1 in the last 23 races, apart from Max Verstappen, and in the three races held, he has always finished ahead of his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc. This further fueled the rush to fill the Grada Sainz in anticipation of Carlos Sainz’s true home race, the Madrid Grand Prix, which will debut on the calendar starting from 2026.
