Sabine Kehm, who went from journalist to manager of the Schumacher family, joined Michael’s circle back in 1999, thanks to a call from Willi Weber. Since then, her life has changed and from 2021, she will once again be close to the Formula 1 tracks, as the son of the seven-time world champion will make his debut in the Haas team. Mick Schumacher will be followed step by step by Sabine KehmKehm, based on the same typical values as Michael.
The former Jordan, Benetton, Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes driver is in Gland, on his estate, in a room equipped for treatment. Family members rarely grant visits also because of the fear of the pandemic: “I have rarely seen a family stay so united.” – Sabine Kehm said, as reported by Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Mick, 2020 Formula 2 champion, often followed Michael to racing when he was little, sometimes even incognito. And in his features and behavior there is also a lot of Corinna, while recognizing the resemblance to his father: “The family was often togheter even if the reporters couldn’t see it. Schumacher felt the need to have them close to him, especially Corinna on weekends which seemed complicated. I disagree very much when they say that Mick and Michael are identical. The smile that Mick has always printed on his face is that of Corinna. And she is heavily involved in all decisions that affect her son”- Kehm recalled.
Mick has his roots in Gland, and for this reason he speaks German and French both as native speakers. But he also knows English and Italian. Polyglot, no doubt. If he will be able to be reserved like his father, only the future will tell: because certain peaks are unattainable. As the manager said, Michael has always managed his stay in Switzerland very well, even in public: “One day Michael, taking his dog for a walk, met a lady, they talked about this and that until the interlocutor said: ‘But do you know that Schumacher lives around here?’. ‘Oh really’? he answered amused, without revealing himself.”
