Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc week didn’t get off to the best possible start, as he missed his flight to Montreal. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will host the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend. In the process, Charles got bantered by Ryanair.
It has been a rather difficult few weeks for Charles Leclerc, who first lost a certain victory in the Spanish Grand Prix, after being forced to retire due to a power unit failure, than was on his way to winning the Monaco Grand Prix in front of his own fans, but finished fourth due to some poor strategy decisions from Ferrari and last weekend suffered another engine failure while leading the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver would have wanted to leave his recent troubles behind him as he prepared for the next round of the 2022 Formula 1 season, the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
But that proved somewhat difficult after he missed his flight yesterday. Posting on Instagram from the airport departure lounge, Charles Leclerc wrote: “Starting the week by missing my flight to Montreal.”
And his day got even worse not long after as the Ryanair official Twitter account picked up on a tweet about Charles Leclerc’s misery and joked: “He’s a 5, but he doesn’t fly a private jet. He’s a 10 for us.” – Ryanair’s social media admin has made a name for themselves in savagery and banter, and therefore continued that trend of Tuesday when they got involved with Formula 1 Twitter..
That led to some hilarious responses from Formula 1 fans on Twitter, including one who wrote: “Whoever is running @Ryanair socials is killing it regardless, Charles Leclerc is always a 10 and gets the ick pass.”

Another fan pointed out: “Did they just call him a five.” As a third person added: “Ryanair and F1 related tweets are things I didn’t know I needed.” While another user commented: “This admin is taking over F1.”
