In the past few hours, new rumors have emerged regarding the health of former Ferrari champion Michael Schumacher: “He is no longer forced to…”.
It has now been twelve years since the accident that caused Michael Schumacher to suffer a serious head injury, forcing him to embark on an extremely long rehabilitation process that is still ongoing today. Now, according to recent reports, some positive rumors have surfaced regarding his condition.
It is well known that the family of the seven-time world champion rarely gives interviews or provides updates to fans about the health of the former Ferrari icon. Corinna Schumacher, Michael’s wife, has chosen to remain silent and protect her husband’s privacy. Over the years, many rumors have circulated, only to later prove false, and much of what has been written during this time has not been accurate. No one, apart from a very small and restricted circle, truly knows Michael Schumacher’s real condition. The accident mainly affected the mental faculties of the “Kaiser”, but according to what is now emerging, there could be some positive developments.
Michael Schumacher is no longer confined to bed, but…
According to what has been reported by the Daily Mail, the champion’s condition would be improving because “he is no longer confined to bed but sits in a wheelchair and can be pushed around his estate in Mallorca and his residence in Gland, on the shores of Lake Geneva”. The same British newspaper also stated that the rumors about his presence at his daughter Gina’s wedding in 2024 turned out to be unfounded.
There were also reports suggesting that Michael Schumacher might be suffering from pseudocoma, or locked-in syndrome, a condition in which a person is conscious and fully aware but unable to react except by blinking their eyes.
It appears that several sources have confirmed that this condition would be inaccurate, because “the feeling is that he understands some of the things that are happening around him, but probably not all of them,” a witness reportedly said. In short, everything should always be taken with caution, as these are not official or confirmed reports, and even these alleged steps forward could turn out to be false. While the Daily Mail is considered a more authoritative source, that alone does not guarantee certainty.
The dream for Ferrari fans would be to see him once again with the Prancing Horse on his chest…
