For the majority of the year, Albert Park is a public use facility, not a Formula 1 race track. As the 2023 F1 championship is fast approaching and Melbourne will host the third round of the season, a crew of tens of thousands of contractors and suppliers have spent the months prior building what is known around the world as Albert Park the street circuit.
Everything is built from the ground up at Albert Park. With the exception of the pit building, every grandstand, hospitality suite, activation, restaurant, bar, stage and office is built specifically for the Australian Grand Prix.
