Pirelli has started its work program in view of the 2023 Formula 1 season. Yesterday, the Italian tire manufacturer was helped by Alpine, AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. At the end of an intense day, Pirelli released a report about the testing programme at the Imola track: Esteban Ocon (Alpine) was the driver to complete the most laps yesterday, 123 laps, while Pierre Gasly completed aps with his AlphaTauri and while Zhou (Alfa Romeo) 120.
This two-day testing session is the first opportunity for Pirelli to gather data about the new tyres using the 2022 Formula 1 cars.
Today Ferrari confirmed it is taking part in the second day of testing at the Imola circuit, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz who will take turns at the wheel of the F1-75. Charles was on track in the morning, while Carlos in the afternoon:
