The anticipation for the debut of the “new” Las Vegas GP in F1 is high. According to initial reports, it will be a continuous show with various activities framing an event that has divided enthusiasts.
While some see it as an opportunity to bring even more visibility to the world of Formula 1, others have criticized both the layout and the weekend program. For the Las Vegas GP, rather unusual schedules have been chosen. Considering the local time zone, cars will not hit the track before 8:30 PM, with qualifying starting at midnight in Las Vegas. The biggest novelty, however, concerns the race, which will begin at 10 PM on Saturday, November 18.
As for the track, the layout covers over six kilometers with speeds reaching around 340 kilometers per hour. The foundations for a spectacular weekend are all in place, as confirmed by the photos of ongoing preparations.
Stands are under construction to accommodate the many fans expected despite tickets being far from inexpensive. One of the main attractions will undoubtedly be the brand-new ‘Sphere,’ an elliptical arena right in the center of the circuit.
Final work is also underway for the paddock, pit lane, and track.
