Alongside his role as the reserve driver at Scuderia Ferrari, Arthur Leclerc is gearing up to venture into the world of Gran Turismo for the first time this year.
After securing the fifteenth spot in the previous Formula 2 World Championship while racing for DAMS, Arthur Leclerc recently unveiled his packed agenda for the upcoming season with the renowned Italian team through his social media channels.
Embracing a dual responsibility at Ferrari
“I’m thrilled to announce my involvement in the Scuderia Ferrari team’s development program, and I’ll be taking the wheel in GT3 for Scuderia Baldini in 2024.”
Arthur Leclerc now joins the ranks of development drivers alongside Antonio Fuoco and Davide Rigon. This multifaceted role revolves around activities such as simulator work, contributing to the car’s development, refining its performance, and adapting to the updates introduced throughout the season.
However, in an exciting twist in his burgeoning career, the Monegasque sensation is gearing up to explore a new discipline concurrently – GT racing. Steering for Scuderia Baldini, the reigning endurance champions, Arthur Leclerc is set to join forces with Giancarlo Fisichella and Tommaso Mosca in the Italian GT Championship (Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo).
