Countdown to Monza has begun
One month: that’s the exact time that separates Formula 1 spectators and enthusiasts from the Italian Grand Prix, which, as tradition dictates, will take place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza from Friday, September 1, to Sunday, September 3, the race day.
Unlike the last race at the 7.004-kilometre Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot, Belgium, the Italian weekend will not feature the Sprint format, with the usual free practice sessions serving as a prelude to Saturday’s qualifying and the race on Sunday. In addition to Formula 1, the circuit will also host events for the Porsche Supercup, Formula 2, and Formula 3 championships. Special attention is on the latter category, as it will take to the track for the last time this season at Monza, with the event determining the winner of the series.
Sold out expected
Tickets for the Italian Grand Prix are still available and can be purchased through this link, but interested individuals are advised to act quickly in these days to secure the last remaining spots, as a sold-out situation is expected in the stands of the renowned Monza circuit, especially for the race. This possible phenomenon adds to other ongoing interventions in Monza, crucial to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for spectators.
Changes and interventions
Safety is a top priority, not only in terms of public order, as always, but also for the necessary removal of some trees near the track that were severely damaged during recent storms in Monza and much of Lombardy. Fallen and broken trees scattered throughout the park, especially near the circuit, will unfortunately have to be cleared by August 31, in order to avoid any risks for those attending the race weekend. Regarding spectators, Sias – the management authority of Monza – has also guaranteed other significant novelties, including the addition of 31 large screens in various parts of the track and temporary stands. Moreover, just like during the 3 Hours of Monza, there will also be free water dispensers with still and sparkling water, which will be increased thanks to an agreement between Sias and Brianza Acque.

Pre-weekend activities
The only day when access to the Autodromo will be free without a ticket is Thursday, August 31, during which fans can visit the fan zone, official stands, various shops, and refreshment points. Throughout the day, twenty exceptional cars will also be on display for the parade, a few hours before the start of Sunday’s race. Among them is the 1953 Ferrari 340 MM, fresh from winning an elegance contest in Sardinia.
