German professional racing driver who drove in Formula One in 2010 and from 2012 to 2019, Nico Hülkenberg, has warned against underestimating Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in the new Formula 1 season: “”Don’t write Sebastian off! He can always come back strong.”
It will be an interesting year according to Nico Hülkenberg, who was interviewed by Sky Sports Germany at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Berlin: “With Charles Leclerc, Sebastian has a strong teammate who has gained even more confidence because of his contract extension. We will see how they both get along.” – said the 32-year-old. In addition to Scuderia Ferrari, Nico Hülkenberg also strongly expects the Red Bull team around Max Verstappen: “I think they have made a step forward and they can challenge Mercedes.”
Regarding his own career and Formula 1 future, the German driver added: “The current situation is unchanged – I won’t be racing for the time being. What happens next year or in the future is currently completely open. I feel comfortable not having to follow a race calendar for once and being able to live my own life.” – Nico Hülkenberg concluded, as reported by Sky Sports Germany earlier today.
