New 2023 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix construction photos, showcasing the paddock and pit lane as of October 14. From freelance photographer Kym Illman on Instagram:
“Here’s what the pit straight looks like 35 days out from the race. There’s no pit wall in yet and half of the main grandstand needs black seats installed but crew are working around the clock to ensure it’s ready for the race on Nov 18.”
“We are just 35 days away from the first car taking to the track in Las Vegas and today I was fortunate to be given a tour of the sensational new pitlane complex. The permanent pitlane buildling (on the right) is some 330m long and 30m wide. It occupies roughly the same area as 3 US football fields and behind it is the paddock.
“I had been wondering for some time what the hospitality suites would be like as the digital images of the finished project had them drawn as quite elaborate buildings of different size and design. As you can see here though, they’ve gone with a tent-like arrangement much like Singapore and Melbourne. More pics and a complete YouTube video about the circuit coming up over the next week. One thing’s for sure, this race is widely anticipated.”
