Racing in the Principality
After the Imola weekend, the Circus moves just a few kilometers for the event in the Principality, the home race for most drivers. The major novelty in this edition of the Monaco GP is that two pit stops will be mandatory.
Max Verstappen, after his win in Imola, is now 22 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri. One year ago, it was Charles Leclerc who triumphed in Monaco with Ferrari, but on paper, the SF-25 is expected to struggle this weekend.
In Italy, the event will be broadcast live in full on Sky Sport F1, while Qualifying and the Race will air free-to-air on TV8 on a delayed schedule. On ScuderiaFans.com you will find live video coverage of all the sessions featuring F1. Below are the details of the television schedule, the circuit characteristics, and the Monaco Grand Prix roll of honour. Formula 2 and Formula 3 will also be on track, starting Thursday with free practice sessions and continuing on Friday with Qualifying. As usual, drivers will be split into two groups—cars with even and odd numbers—with the starting grid determined by combining one group’s times on one side of the grid and the other group’s on the opposite side.
