Mick Schumacher pinpoints ‘big difference from Formula 2 to Formula 1’. Mick will make her debut with Haas in 2021.

Ferrari Driver Academy member Mick Schumacher completed 113 laps during the Young Driver Test this week at the Yas Marina Circuit and has thus gained a wealth of experience for his Formula 1 debut in 2021. The German does not care that he was at the bottom of the timesheet.

Mick will make her debut with Haas in 2021, together with Nikita Mazepin. Schumacher is going to be a Formula 2 champion, but during the Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi, Schumacher really felt the difference between F1 and F2. According to Michael Schumacher’s son, that difference is very big.

”With a day like this you feel extra ready for it”, Schumacher told the German RTL after the Young Driver Test. ”I’m extra motivated now and it was just so much fun that you actually keep on driving for the next few days and preferably the rest of the week. I’m looking forward to the start in Barcelona”, says the new Haas driver.

‘It’s a big difference from Formula 2 to Formula 1. The longruns are so fast, that’s really fun. The feeling is also just good, because you can always keep pushing. That’s something I missed in the F2”, the German concludes. Mick Schumacher can now go on a well-deserved holiday, to be ready in Barcelona for the start of the F1 season of 2021. That’s where the season starts with the winter tests.
