How is your relationship with Charles Leclerc ?
Mick Schumacher: “I met him when he was with PREMA in F2, a quiet boy. Then he moved to F1 and I haven’t had a chance to get to know him well.”
And Sebastian Vettel?
Mick Schumacher: “Seb and I talk to each other regularly. He has great experience and gives me advice. He keeps an eye on me.”
You are in the Ferrari Driver Academy, what advice did Ferrari team principal mattia Binotto give you?
Mick Schumacher: “If I think about it, the first that comes to mind is: [drive fast / go strong].”
Mick on F1 debut and future prospects:
“I am very happy to be at Haas. It’s my F1 debut and I would like to do it in the best possible way. Then we will see what the future has in store for me but I don’t deny it: it would be a dream to drive a Ferrari like my father did in the past.”
