Home » Mattia Binotto: “Seb is a sincere and honest person. He loves his job and we value him so much at Ferrari”

Mattia Binotto: “Seb is a sincere and honest person. He loves his job and we value him so much at Ferrari”. Mattia Binotto about Seabstian Vettel.

In a recent interview for Sky Sports F1, Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto explains one of the reasons why the Italian side values Sebastian Vettel and wants to continue alongside the German driver beyond the 2020 Formula One season:

“Seb is a sincere and honest person. He loves his job. That’s one of the reasons why we value him so much at Ferrari.” – the Ferrari boss said – “Sebastian misses normality. He misses racing. He would like to be back in action again as soon as possible. But we have to wait until everything gets back to normal again – whenever that will be.”- Mattia Binotto added.

As to the matter of the 2020 Formula One season season itself, Mattia Binotto conceded he had no knowledge of when racing could resume, but was hopeful a championship of some sort would eventually take place.

“F1 is certainly trying to organise the best season, maybe starting early July if that would be possible but we cannot have any confirmation at the moment. But I think by the end of May we will have a clearer picture. It is important to be flexible and making sure we can have good races as well for the fans.” – Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto concluded, as reported by Sky Sports F1.
