Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto on why Sebastian Vettel was not able win the title with the Maranello team during the six years he spent with the Italian side: “It’s not an easy answer. Certainly Ferrari, in the last six years had a lot of change as well in the top management. We had a lack of stability in terms of company, and that certainly didn’t help the project and that’s the main reason.”- the Ferrari boss explained.
In a recent interview for German weekly sports magazine ‘Sport Bild’, the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal added: “Sebastian leaves Ferrari as the driver with the third most victories in our history. Only Michael Schumacher and Niki Lauda were better than him. This alone shows the huge footprints, that he leaves behind here. Sebastian not only became part of our history, but will always remain a part of our family.” – Mattia Binotto concluded, ahead of Sebastian Vettel’s last Grand Prix alongside the Maranello team, which will take place this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit.
