In an interview for a special documentary about Mick Schumacher made by RTL, former Ferrari president Lica di Montezemolo recalls an emotional story about Michael and his son:

One time Michael and Corinna visited me in my house. Mick was in the baby cradle. It was summer and a lot of mosquitoes were flying around. Every two minutes Michael stood up to check whether the mosquito net still protects his son. I have known Mick since he couldn’t even speak. He was always a very well behaved boy, very reserved. Corinna and Michael raised him with a sense of education and the duties of life.” – the former Ferrari president concluded.
