Formula 1 – Monaco 2026, the Grand Prix welcomes Louis Vuitton and changes name
Big news from the Principality of Monaco. The Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), organizer of Formula 1’s most glamorous race, announced that starting next year Louis Vuitton will become the Title Partner of the FORMULA 1® LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026. This extends Louis Vuitton’s official partnership with Formula 1, which began in 2025, further strengthening the historic connection between the brand and the Principality.
Through its partnership with the ACM from 2021 to 2024, Louis Vuitton has been closely associated with the most memorable moments of the Monaco Grand Prix™ in recent seasons. The Maison has particularly celebrated the victories of Max Verstappen (2021 and 2023), Sergio Pérez (2022), Charles Leclerc (2024), and Lando Norris (2025), presenting on the podium a custom-made Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk designed specifically to protect and display the event trophy. This marks an even greater commitment to the Grand Prix, a symbol of history, elegance, and audacity.
In 2026, Louis Vuitton will present the Monaco Grand Prix™ Trophy trunk for the sixth consecutive year. Crafted in the Maison’s historic workshops in Asnières, it features the iconic Monogram canvas reinterpreted in an exclusive shade of red, paying homage to the national color of the Principality. The “V” signature, representing both Vuitton and Victory, in white and red, completes a design inspired by the Monaco flag, a creation reflecting over 170 years of craftsmanship and tradition.
From the first car trunks designed by Georges Vuitton at the end of the 19th century to trophy trunks created for the world’s greatest sporting competitions—from the America’s Cup to the FIFA World Cup™, from the Ballon d’Or® to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games—Louis Vuitton has built a tradition of excellence where savoir-faire goes hand in hand with performance.
For F1 fans, the sight of the winner lifting the trophy from that unmistakable red trunk is already one of the sport’s most photogenic moments. From 2026 it will happen under an even more glamorous banner, perfectly matching the champagne, supercars and Riviera glamour that make Monaco unlike anywhere else on the calendar.
