Live commentary: 2026 F1 Canadian GP qualifying live from Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Follow our live coverage of qualifying for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix.

Good evening to all ScuderiaFans.com readers joining us from around the world.

The weekend is moving quickly, and we have already arrived at the qualifying session that will decide the starting grid for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix, with tomorrow’s formation lap scheduled for 10:00 PM CET.

For now, the weather forecast is far from ideal. The skies are overcast, and temperatures remain relatively mild. There is also a possibility of rain tomorrow, which means some teams may already be considering setup compromises with the race in mind.

In the Sprint, we saw a strong Mercedes, but not an unbeatable one, which means McLaren can realistically hope to challenge for a big result. Naturally, we are also waiting to see what kind of response Ferrari can deliver.
