In the closing stages of the Singapore Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton clashed on track. The Ferrari driver, struggling with braking issues, failed to respect track limits and crossed the finish line in seventh place, just ahead of the Aston Martin driver.
Fernando Alonso was furious over the radio, repeatedly expressing disbelief at the situation, highlighting that with the ignored red-flag infringement and events at the race’s end, it seemed as though everything was allowed for Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari at Marina Bay.
Lewis Hamilton received a five-second penalty, dropping him to eighth, with Fernando Alonso classified seventh. Following the race, the seven-time world champion posted an Instagram Story clearly mocking the Spanish driver.
The video compilation features the iconic “I can’t believe it” reactions of actor Richard Wilson portraying Victor Meldrew in the British sitcom One Foot in the Grave. The show aired over six seasons, each with six 30-minute episodes, plus seven Christmas specials spanning from 1990 to 2000. The Ferrari driver captioned the video with “18 years of…,” referencing the fact that he has competed alongside Fernando Alonso in Formula 1 since 2007, except for the 2019-2020 seasons when the Spaniard was competing in the WEC and Dakar Rally.
