Four hours, and then we will have to wait for the Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park circuit in order to see the cars back on track. However, on the eve of the final test session in Bahrain, Lewis Hamilton shared his initial impressions of the SF-25, including a comment on Ferrari’s engine.
The British driver, after driving for two days in the morning session, will have the chance to hit the track in the afternoon. The conditions will definitely be different from those of the previous sessions, allowing the former Mercedes driver and the team to compare his data with those of Charles Leclerc.
Lewis Hamilton’s first impressions with the SF-25
“We are focusing on doing our job and trying to fully understand the package we have,” said the seven-time world champion in a press conference. “Personally, I’m trying to understand more and more how the team works to try to be as performant as possible.” – the seven-time Formula 1 world champion pointed out.
“In some ways, it was strange having to adapt to a different car, how to drive it, or how to approach the corners. The engine is different in terms of sound and feel,” Lewis Hamilton added. “I drove for years with a Mercedes that had a great power unit. It’s nice to see that Ferrari also has a good engine, and I’m working with the engineers to understand how to make the most of it.” – the British driver concluded.
