Lewis Hamilton appears set to welcome a new puppy into his life, with breeder Goldiva Goldens announcing that a female golden retriever named Halo was being flown to Los Angeles for the Ferrari driver.
The development marks a potentially poignant new chapter for Lewis Hamilton following the death of his much-loved bulldog Roscoe in September 2025. Halo has already attracted considerable attention after being photographed in a motorsport helmet, while Kim Kardashian recently shared a picture with the puppy.
Lewis Hamilton’s new puppy Halo heads to Los Angeles
Goldiva Goldens directly identified Lewis Hamilton as Halo’s intended recipient when announcing the puppy’s journey from Maine to California.
“We’re excited to fly Ms Halo to Los Angeles to Formula 1 Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton!!” the breeder wrote on Instagram.
The wording provides the clearest evidence that Halo is joining Hamilton. However, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion has not yet publicly introduced the puppy through his own social-media accounts or provided details about her arrival.
Halo is a golden retriever, representing a change from the bulldogs with whom Hamilton was previously associated. The playful motorsport theme surrounding her introduction also immediately connected the young dog with her prospective owner’s racing career, although this is a personal development rather than an official Ferrari initiative.
A new chapter after the loss of Roscoe
Lewis Hamilton shared an especially close bond with Roscoe, who regularly accompanied him during his Formula 1 career and became one of the paddock’s most recognisable animals. The Briton publicly documented Roscoe’s final illness before announcing his death following complications from pneumonia.
The loss affected Hamilton deeply. He described bringing Roscoe into his life as one of the best decisions he had ever made and thanked supporters for the affection they had shown his companion over the years.
Halo cannot simply be presented as a replacement for Roscoe, whose relationship with the seven-time world champion developed over more than a decade. Nevertheless, the prospect of the Ferrari driver welcoming another dog is understandably meaningful to followers who witnessed that bond.
Looks like Lewis Hamilton got a new puppy! 🥹❤️🐶

What Kim Kardashian’s picture with Halo confirms
Kim Kardashian also shared a recent photograph with Halo, bringing the puppy to an audience extending far beyond Formula 1. Her post establishes that she spent time with the golden retriever, but it does not confirm that she owns Halo or explain her role in the puppy’s journey to Los Angeles.
Reports should therefore avoid describing Halo as a jointly owned dog unless either Hamilton or Kardashian confirms that arrangement. The breeder’s announcement specifically named Lewis Hamilton as the person to whom the puppy was being taken.
There is similarly no confirmation that Halo will travel to races or become a familiar presence in the Ferrari garage. For now, the substantiated development is both simpler and more personal: a golden retriever puppy named Halo was prepared for a journey to Los Angeles to join Hamilton, opening a heart-warming new chapter away from the Formula 1 circuit.
