Hamilton: “I don’t want to publicly talk about what I need, many things must change”
What the Ferrari driver said
Zero points for Lewis Hamilton once again in Qatar. The seven-time world champion finished the Grand Prix in twelfth place and now holds only a two-point advantage over Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the championship standings.
“Charles and I gave everything to try to extract some pace from this car,” Lewis Hamilton told Sky at the end of the Qatar Grand Prix weekend, which was held at the 5.4-kilometre Lusail International Circuit – “This race shows how much longer our rivals have developed their cars. We’re struggling to stay ahead of Williams.” – the British driver pointed out.
“What do I need?” he added. “It’s not something I want to talk about publicly. There are many things that need to change. In the coming months, we’ll have to keep the things that worked and change the things that didn’t.”
