Lewis Hamilton: “I can’t wait for Melbourne, we’ve made great progress as a team”. Lewis Hamilton's comment on day 3 of F1 testing in Bahrain.

Lewis Hamilton’s comment on day-3 in Bahrain: despite an early return, the Briton completed only 47 laps.

Bahrain Test, Lewis Hamilton finishes in 6th place
Lewis Hamilton’s afternoon in Bahrain lasted just over three hours. The seven-time world champion returned to the pits about 45 minutes before the end of the session, and from the words he used, it seemed like a forced, unscheduled stop despite what might have been expected at the start. The seven-time world champion is not concerned and expressed enthusiasm about these first three days in red alongside the competition.

Lewis Hamilton’s comments
“Overall, it’s been fantastic days and we’ve made great progress as a team. Today we had to stop a bit earlier than planned, and the weather has been difficult to manage throughout the week, but sometimes tests go this way, and we managed to gather a lot of information to work on before the season starts,” these were his words.

“The entire team has done an incredible job, and I’m really excited to get to the first race in Melbourne. I can’t wait to race with them.” – the seven-time Formula 1 world champion pointed out.

Lewis Hamilton will have to wait two weeks for the first real on-track comparison with his Ferrari. During this time, a lot of work will be done at Maranello on the simulator to fine-tune the final crucial details in terms of balance, which, according to Frederic Vasseur and Charles Leclerc, could make a difference even against McLaren, which undoubtedly had a better start in Bahrain. But these are just tests.
