Limited damage, no risk to Lewis Hamilton’s qualifying in Monaco
Considering the extent of the impact, the damage can be repaired in time for the afternoon’s qualifying session. The incident did not involve critical elements like the suspension, although the gearbox will need to be checked to eliminate any doubt.
The SF-25 will be thoroughly inspected before Q1. At the moment, there are no indications of penalties or component changes that could affect Lewis Hamilton’s grid position.
The stretch before the Casino corner is one of the most challenging on the Monaco circuit, and it has often caught out even the most experienced drivers. Lewis Hamilton, who had shown signs of improvement compared to Friday, will now have to bounce back with confidence and determination to secure a favourable position on a track where qualifying is everything.
The Ferrari team remains hard at work in the garage to restore car #44 in the best possible condition, aiming to give Hamilton the optimal setup ahead of a qualifying session expected to be fiercely contested between the barriers of the Principality.
