Lewis Hamilton’s Hilarious TikTok from Miami LEGO F1 Parade Goes Viral with Millions of Views
Lewis Hamilton has taken TikTok by storm after sharing a hilarious onboard video from the chaotic Miami LEGO race, a unique and entertaining event held ahead of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix.
The spectacle took place at the Miami International Autodrome, where all 20 Formula 1 drivers took part in a one-of-a-kind parade lap—driving full-scale LEGO replicas of their F1 cars. Each team was represented by a single LEGO-built car, with one driver behind the wheel and the other capturing the absurdity of the moment from the backseat.
The LEGO cars themselves were marvels of engineering. Constructed over a staggering 22,000 hours by a team of 26 expert designers, engineers, and builders, each car was built to nearly 1:1 scale. Comprising around 400,000 LEGO bricks, each vehicle weighed approximately 1,000kg—heavier than an actual Formula 1 car—and featured real Pirelli tyres. Despite their bulk, the cars could still reach a top speed of 20 km/h.
Though it was likely the slowest lap ever completed on the Miami circuit, it was undoubtedly the most entertaining. Lewis Hamilton’s TikTok video captured the chaos perfectly, showing drivers laughing uncontrollably and even crashing their brick-built cars in what quickly became a fan-favourite moment.
Within just 17 hours of being posted, the video had exploded in popularity, racking up 5.6 million views, 1.2 million likes, over 5,000 comments, and more than 100,000 bookmarks—making it one of the most talked-about clips of the race weekend.
