During the traditional end-of-season lunch with journalists, Frédéric Vasseur shared his perspective on the rivalry between the Monegasque and the Briton: “Charles and Lewis don’t worry me much. They have enormous mutual respect, they know each other well, and they’ve been discussing this for months.” – the French manager pointed out.
“It’s far better to fight for first and third places or second and third than for 19th and 20th,” the Scuderia team principal assures. “It’s a good thing for a team to have this kind of discussion and approach, and I’m truly convinced that the team’s performance will benefit from the competition between the two.” – the Ferrari team principal concluded.
