The drivers’ parade
LEGO reproduced 10 full-size F1 cars. Each team had access to a two-seater car. The drivers had the opportunity to drive them during the Drivers’ Parade and became part of a very entertaining challenge. The cars could reach a top speed of 20 km/h, but that didn’t prevent collisions. F1, in collaboration with LEGO, fulfilled the dream of many children. The drivers enjoyed a light-hearted moment before focusing on the Miami GP.
The most heated battle was definitely between the Ferrari and Mercedes drivers. At the wheel for the respective teams were Charles Leclerc and George Russell. The scene was captured by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who later shared the video on his TikTok profile.
Other drivers didn’t hold back either and got into real races to be the first to cross the finish line.
After several contacts between the cars, the track was littered with tiny “debris” – oops… tiny LEGO bricks.
