Alfa Romeo Racing picked up three points in what was a much needed positive weekend for the team in Austria. Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen believes this will sort of form will continue into the British Grand Prix weekend as they look to challenge Renault in the constructors’ championship.
“As a team, we have shown improvement in the last couple of races and I think Britain is another place where we can do well,” a confident Kimi Raikkonen expressed ahead of the race which will rake place at the Sliverstone circuit.

Up until the Austrian Grand Prix, the 2007 Formula One world champion had scored all of the points for Alfa Romeo Racing during the 2019 Formula 1 season so far. The 39-year-old is showing no signs of getting old on track, but he’s still very traditional when it comes to his taste in circuits: “Silverstone is always a good place to come back to. It’s an old-school track and it’s quite fun to drive, especially in the fast corners. As always, we will need to do a perfect job because the margins are very small between teams, but I am confident we can have another good result.” – Kimi Raikkonen concluded, as reported by Alfa Romeo’s official website earlier today.
