Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen concluded Alfa Romeo Racing’s programme with another productive session in the last day of the pre-season testing period at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.
The 2007 Formula One world champion once again completed over 130 laps in race simulations (with a personal best of 1:17:239) that will provide key information for the development of the C38, as Alfa Romeo will now return to its headquarters to analyse the data gathered during the two weeks of testing and identify the ideal setup of the car ahead of the first race of the championship.
Today was therefore the last day for Formula One teams to rack up mileage before the start of the 2019 Formula One season. The opening round is set to be held on 17 March at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne, a week earlier than recent years.
Final lap time results from the second Formula 1 pre-season test at Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
