Second practice session:
Kimi Raikkonen reported a problem on his car at the beginning of the second session.
From Kimi Raikkonen: “OK I’ve got a lot of vibration at the front.”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK Kimi, understood.”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “Again I have the vibration on the front brakes, it’s a lot of vibration. And I feel like my brake balance keeps moving without me touching it”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “Copy”
Third practice session:
To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK, how’s the balance now?”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “Better. Still a bit too much.”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “I can feel very little drops.”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “Understood. See if we can get one more lap in.”

To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK Kimi so your gap in front will be to Bottas and Sebastian. Grosjean behind.”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “OK everyone’s gone out we should have waited longer. Everybody’s just going very slow. But anyhow.”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “So we are safe Kimi. We’re just concerned about the fact there’s nine minutes remaining in this session. We wouldn’t want to have to go out again. I would go lap mode push.”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “What do you mean?”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK Kimi we box.”
From Kimi Raikkonen: “I’m boxing this lap.”
To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK, box, box then.”
Race:
PR – To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK Kimi I’ll go through the normal stuff in a second but just to bring you up to speed where we are, the reason why all the fuss earlier was we saw an issue with the telemetry signal being a bit weak so we’re worried we migh tlose telemetry in the race. We did then have problems connecting to the car but that seems to have resolved itself. So the only thing to remind you of in the event we do have a problem with telemetry is to look after your fuel. You’ve got your display, you know how to use it.”
Lap 17 – From Kimi Raikkonen: “The tyres don’t feel great, it’s moving around a lot.”
Lap 17 – To Kimi Raikkonen: “Understood Kimi. Rear-right temp’s high as you’ve seen. Hopefully they’ll start to come down.”
Lap 33 – To Kimi Raikkonen: “OK Kimi quick update: Option pace looks good on Hamilton, he has been quite quick so I think it’ll be fine for us too. He has got some blistering but it’s not affecting his pace. And obviously Hamilton is going to be as threat to us at the end of this race.”
Lap 35 – To Kimi Raikkonen: “Nice lap Kimi, quickest man on track.”
VL – To Kimi Raikkonen: “Nice job Kimi nice drive. Thank you mate. Perfect.”
VL – To Kimi Raikkonen: “Bravo Kimi. Well done Kimi.”
