A victory that was not predicted until the eve of the weekend, especially knowing the lack of updates on the SF-24. In fact, Ferrari was the only team to arrive without visible aerodynamic updates. On the eve of the race, during the Drivers Parade, Charles Leclerc expressed extreme confidence in the potential of the SF-24 ahead of the United States GP. He also stated that he wouldn’t be satisfied with just a podium, but aimed high, setting a double victory as the target.
Last night’s race once again demonstrated that the SF-24 is extremely competitive over long distances. Additionally, it did not suffer from high temperatures and thermal degradation.
