“Everyone criticizes Ferrari. The problem is that in Formula 1, only one teams wins. And Ferrari, with its ups and downs, is always up there. It’s not a given: look at Mercedes. “With Hamilton, you can’t go wrong. But I think Sainz would have done well too. I feel sorry for him, he’s a deserving driver. But that’s F1, I’ve been through it many times. You can become a victim of others’ choices, right or wrong.” – the Italian explained.
