Ivan Capelli commented on Mercedes’ performance at the Canadian Grand Prix during the Sky Race Anatomy broadcast, explaining why the Silver Arrows’ result offers hope for Ferrari.

Here is the analysis from the former Formula 1 driver: “Mercedes has also regained reliability, which had been lacking in recent races.

“[The Brackley team, ed.] has, so to speak, found the thread again in all respects, and they did it in just one weekend. Of course, maybe they were helped by the track configuration or the weather conditions, but they managed to make their cars go fast. This means that [their result, ed.] is a sign of hope for Ferrari, proof that if you find the right ingredients and put them in the right place, you can make the cars go fast,” Ivan Capelli concluded.
