From the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix turn 11 has been called the Jacky Ickx corner as a tribute to his career. The corner was formerly known by most drivers as “speakers corner”. This is where the announcer of the race could see the cars after they disappeared into the forest after Raidillon.
As part of the renovation work which is being carried out at the Spa-Francorchamps in recent weeks, resurfacing is done at the Jacky Ickx corner, as indicated by the images posted by the official Spa-Francorchamps Twitter account:
