In a recent interview for German news outlet Sportbuzzer, former Scuderia Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel discussed Michael Schumacher’s time alongside the Maranello team:
“He was able to drive the red car faster than everyone else and to get the most out of every race. He was still able to get extra performance like I haven’t seen anyone else do. And that for many years. In terms of sport, this stands for extreme reliability. Michael also confirmed that as a person. He always confessed to what he said. I am very pleased that his son Mick is now driving in F1. I’ll try to give him back some of what Michael gave me” – Sebastian Vettel explained.
Asked about his new journey in Formula 1 with Aston Martin, the German driver added: “I don’t expect any guarantees of success in the future, but a lot of hard work. We have to take advantage of the spirit of optimism in the team and at the same time try step by step to get closer to success”. – former Scuderia Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel.
