Earlier today Haas became the first team to present its 2022 Formula 1 car, by unveiling a digital rendering of their VF22 challenger. The American team, who focused all of their efforts on this year’s project, even fron the early stages of the previous championship, hope the decision will now pay off and that they will be able to fight for a place in the midfield zone.
The new car has been designed based on the radically different regulations that are introduced this year, with the goal of improving wheel-to-wheel racing
It will be raced by Ferrari Driver Academy member Mick Schumacher, son of seven-times world champion Michael, and Russian Nikita Mazepin.

“The front suspension on this release is pushrod, which appears to be a departure from what technical partner Ferrari is doing with its expected pullrod design. If you look at where the pushrod meets the chassis, it doesn’t seem to enter the chassis, it seems to be just leaning against it. So it’s possible Haas might not want to give away the real Ferrari design in this area until Ferrari releases it.” – Gary Anderson wrote for The Race.
