Great anticipation for the new developments
The time has come. Today in Canada, at 15:30 Central European Summer Time, Formula 1 and the FIA will finally unveil the 2026 regulations. The last major regulatory change occurred in 2022 with the return of ground effect, a philosophy that will not be abandoned in the new cycle.
The goal is to make the cars less bulky to facilitate on-track battles, and there is great curiosity about the actual dimensions of the new 2026 F1 cars, which will have power units without the MGU-H and will be powered by 100% biofuels (the electric part will have a greater weight in terms of power compared to the current situation).
Another aspect that arouses interest is the possibility that the 2026 cars will be equipped with active aerodynamics that go beyond the DRS on the rear wing. Judging by the video released by the FIA, there will also be a show car model for the 2026 regulations, a show car that, of course, is equipped with the Halo.
The wait is almost over – Stay tuned ⏰
