In the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship season, the Scuderia Ferrari racing team has endured an extended period of drought without securing a traditional Grand Prix race victory, having achieved only a single notable success in the Sprint Race event that took place in China. Despite this Sprint Race win, the Italian Formula 1 team has not managed to cross the finish line first in any of the standard full-length Grand Prix races so far this season. The Ferrari Formula 1 team, currently led and managed by the experienced team principal Frederic Vasseur, is firmly focused on breaking this prolonged winless streak with the intention of significantly boosting the overall morale and fighting spirit of the entire racing team.
The Maranello team’s collective morale and motivation have been severely tested and challenged by a number of unsettling rumors, destabilizing speculation, and distracting reports that have circulated widely throughout the course of the season. Their main and immediate goal is to return to winning ways as soon as possible and to relaunch the competitiveness and performance of the iconic red car, commonly referred to as the Ferrari F1 car, for the remaining races still scheduled in the 2025 Formula 1 calendar, thereby restoring the confidence and belief of both the Scuderia’s professional race drivers and the wider technical and operational staff within the team.
Frederic Vasseur, speaking on behalf of Ferrari, explained that the team has recently experienced various internal discussions and debates, and that in the past two weeks specifically, certain media reports and news articles have negatively impacted the team’s morale, mental state, and overall calmness and serenity within the paddock. However, Frederic Vasseur stressed that it is now absolutely time to leave all of these distracting issues and external distractions behind and to concentrate fully on the future challenges ahead. The entire Ferrari team is actively preparing intensively for the critical final phase of the 2025 Formula 1 season, with a clear and ambitious objective of fighting competitively to secure at least second place in the highly contested Constructors’ Championship standings. Ferrari is determined to secure several race victories before the conclusion of the championship to demonstrate progress and regain momentum. According to Frederic Vasseur, recent contract renewals and the resulting team stability represent important and positive steps forward in this strategic direction.
