“All of this is a joke”, Fred Vasseur once again criticizes the media

Fred Vasseur has once again spoken out about the rumors regarding the possible departures of key figures from Ferrari, renewing his criticism of the media. The atmosphere within the team seems to be increasingly complicated, with disappointing results on track combined with endless speculation about staff changes putting added pressure on Maranello.

With 2026 and the new Formula 1 regulations fast approaching, Ferrari cannot afford another false step. This is why the continuous wave of rumors about engineers and technicians leaving the team is the last thing the Scuderia needs as it prepares for such a crucial transition.

Fred Vasseur remains firm in his criticism of the media

Fred Vasseur, speaking after a difficult Azerbaijan Grand Prix for Ferrari, once again addressed the issue directly. “There is turnover, as is normal in Formula 1. Over the last eighteen months around sixty people have joined us from other teams. That’s why when I heard in recent weeks that more names were supposedly preparing to leave, I got angry. All of this situation is a joke. And it is absolutely not good for the team to have to deal with it,” explained the Ferrari team principal following the Baku race.

It will now be interesting to see whether these rumors are confirmed or not, and above all, whether Ferrari can approach the challenge of 2026 in the best possible way. The new regulations will represent a crucial turning point, and stability inside Maranello could prove essential in determining the team’s future competitiveness.
