Fred Vasseur previews Spa: “One of the toughest weekends of the year, we’ll have to get every detail right.”
The 2026 Formula 1 World Championship resumes at Spa-Francorchamps for the tenth round of the season, with one of the most technical and unpredictable events on the calendar. The iconic Ardennes circuit has always been considered a complete test for both cars and drivers, not only because of its high-speed layout but also due to its famously unpredictable weather, which can completely transform race conditions within just a few minutes.
Ferrari arrives in Belgium aiming to build on the encouraging progress shown over the past few races. The Scuderia knows that on such a demanding circuit, avoiding mistakes in every area will be essential. Team principal Fred Vasseur reinforced that message, stressing that teamwork and flawless execution throughout the weekend will be decisive factors.
“We arrive at Spa-Francorchamps knowing that a particularly demanding weekend lies ahead of us. It’s one of the toughest races of the year, both because of the characteristics of the circuit and the way the weather can change from one moment to the next in the Ardennes.” – the French manager pointed out.
“We know we can rely on a united team, with everyone working in the same direction, and on two drivers who work very well together, constantly pushing each other every time they are on track. Once again, our objective will be to maximize the result and make sure we execute every detail as well as possible, from the first session all the way to the chequered flag.”
