The Dutch Grand Prix is a Formula 1 race that takes place at Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The 2023 Dutch Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, August 27. The race will consist of 72 laps of the 4.259-kilometre Circuit Zandvoort.
The Dutch Grand Prix has a long history in Formula 1. The first Grand Prix was held in the Dutch dunes in 1952, with Alberto Ascari dominating the race as he led home a 1-2-3 for Ferrari. Formula 1 would go on to race on and off at the track until 1985 – before, in 2019, the announcement came that the championship would return to Zandvoort for 2020, after a 35-year hiatus.
