Formula 1, the pinnacle of motorsport, marks this historic milestone with a special logo commemorating its 75 years of existence. The newly revealed design blends tradition and innovation, paying tribute to its rich heritage.
The new logo features an elegant and modern design. At the center is the number “75,” formed with dynamic lines that evoke the speed of race cars and the spirit of competition. The iconic Formula 1 emblem is prominently integrated, merging with the celebratory number to highlight the continuity between past and future.
Will the new logo be fully adopted for Formula 1’s 75th anniversary?
It remains to be seen whether the logo will appear in its entirety or only on special occasions. In 2020, F1 had also introduced a commemorative logo, and the 75th-anniversary design might follow a similar approach. For now, the logo has only been shared with selected media outlets and not through official channels.
The 75th anniversary celebrations may extend beyond the logo itself, with Formula 1 possibly organizing a series of initiatives to engage fans and enthusiasts worldwide. These activities would highlight F1’s journey from a European competition to a global phenomenon connecting millions of people.
A unique season launch event
Additionally, the 2025 Formula One season launch will take place at London’s O2 Arena, a special occasion to kick off activities celebrating the 75th anniversary. For the first time in F1 history, all 10 race cars will be unveiled together in a single, unprecedented event.
The 75th-anniversary logo also symbolizes Formula 1’s commitment to sustainability and technological innovation. With ambitious goals like achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030, F1 demonstrates its forward-looking vision while staying rooted in its legacy.
