Methodology: Grand Prix starts, points, constructor breakdowns and season summaries are calculated from locally processed F1DB race and Sprint results. Points use the same race-result definition across career, Ferrari, constructor and season views so the totals reconcile. Official season championship points are retained separately and noted where historical dropped-score rules create a difference. Career wins, podiums, poles and fastest laps use F1DB driver-level totals where available.

Why some sources show 54 Pedro Rodríguez starts and others show 55

Historical databases do not all return the same Formula 1 start total for Pedro Rodríguez. Some established statistical sources list 54 starts, while the current F1DB dataset used by this statistics project records 55.

This page follows the F1DB-based module so that the editorial copy and dynamically generated career statistics remain consistent. The discrepancy does not affect his Ferrari total of eight official starts.

Pedro Rodríguez season-by-season F1 statistics

The season table follows Rodríguez from his early Lotus and Ferrari appearances through his Cooper victory and later BRM success.

His strongest final Drivers’ Championship positions were sixth in both 1967 and 1968.

Pedro Rodríguez’s place in Ferrari history

Rodríguez’s Ferrari Formula 1 career did not produce the race victories he later achieved elsewhere, but it formed an important early phase of a career that would ultimately deliver two Grand Prix wins and seven podiums.

His eight Ferrari starts were spread across three seasons rather than one continuous Scuderia campaign.

Pedro Rodríguez circuit records

Rodríguez’s two Formula 1 victories came in South Africa with Cooper and Belgium with BRM.

For circuit-specific Ferrari and Formula 1 records, visit the F1 Circuit Records & Statistics database.

How Pedro Rodríguez’s F1 records are calculated

The page follows the current F1DB data used by the statistics module for official race-start counting and uses all points awarded from individual race results.

Constructor records are calculated separately, giving Rodríguez a fixed Ferrari total of eight starts and six points irrespective of the historical career-start discrepancy found between databases.
