Formula 1 is gearing up for the 2024 season, set to be the longest championship ever with a record-breaking 24 races, a milestone for the premier class. Just a few minutes ago, the schedules for all sessions and Grand Prix races of the 2024 season (including the six sprint race weekends) were revealed, except for the Chinese and Azerbaijani GPs, which are still awaiting official confirmation.
As already known, the first two races of the season in Bahrain and Jeddah will take place on Saturday evening, although the session timings will remain unchanged from the previous season, simply shifted one day earlier. This means that the first two practice sessions will take place on Thursday instead of Friday.
No changes are expected for the European races, except for the Belgian GP, which will start half an hour later than this year’s edition to avoid clashes with the opening of the Paris Olympic Games.
Fans will have to wake up very early in the morning to watch both the Australian and Suzuka GPs, as the start time for both races is set for 7:00 AM.
The Silverstone and Zandvoort GPs will be the only ones where qualifying and the race will take place at the same time, namely at 4:00 PM and 3:00 PM, respectively, while in all other European races, the race will start one hour earlier than qualifying.

There are also changes for the Qatar race, with a calendar date shift allowing the lights to go out three hours earlier than this year. The significant difference concerns Las Vegas, with all three practice sessions and qualifying starting two hours earlier than this year, while the race will still kick off at 7:00 AM European time.
