The first Formula 1 pre-season testing session has reached the final of the four days during which the teams have had the possibility to test the new cars for the 2017 F1 season and continue their development process ahead of what should be a very interesting and exciting championship. Scuderia Ferrari has made a strong and solid start during the first three days at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, as the Italian team finished in the top two every time and managed to complete more than 100 laps each day. Kimi Raikkonen will once again be at the wheel of the SF70H and will run the car on the track as much as possible, with different tyres and settings, in order to gather as much useful information for the Maranello team.

11:35 Nico Hulkenberg has now joined Max Verstappen in the 1:30s, with the new Renault driver 0.9s off the pace. He moves up to second place with that time.
11:32 Mercedes and Force India have no appearance on the circuit so far. Williams have confirmed that they will not be running today at all as a result of the chassis damage on the Williams FW40 from Stroll’s crash yesterday.

09:48 Good morning from Barcelona! It is going to be a wet start to the final day. It hasn’t rained, but tanker trucks of water have been used to soak the track so the teams can evaluate Pirelli’s new (and hopefully improved) wet tyre.
