We are getting closer to one of the most anticipated weekends of the entire 2023 Formula One season. The track for the Las Vegas Grand Prix hasn’t particularly convinced fans, but from the first videos, you can already sense the spectacle that will surround the entire event.
The layout, being inaugurated for the occasion, has not received approval from enthusiasts. Few turns and long straights make for a less technical and more flashy track. It is highly likely that the record for the average speed during the lap will be surpassed, although the low temperatures could jeopardize this aspect.
According to the weather forecast, given the scheduled times for the weekend, there will be less than ten degrees during the sessions. In this regard, both the teams and Formula 1 itself have expressed concerns, with Ross Brawn even admitting not to have thought about the cold risk. “Honestly, we didn’t think about it. We’ll find very low temperatures,” were the words of the former Ferrari figure, which you can read in full here.
Meanwhile, the first images from the track are starting to circulate on social media. The straights are indeed very long and traverse the most famous streets of the city. Among them is the Las Vegas Strip, one of the most well-known areas thanks to the many casinos and hotels encountered while crossing it.
