
The FIA has officially revealed the updates for the 2024 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend at the 4.94-kilometre Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the top three teams in the constructors’ standings, Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren, introducing some interesting changes, while Mercedes opted not to bring any new parts.
Red Bull made a circuit-specific adjustment to the RB20, enlarging the front brake duct exit to better manage the intense heat in Singapore. McLaren, having taken the lead in the constructors’ championship in Baku, also introduced a circuit-specific tweak with a higher downforce beam wing.
Ferrari, on the other hand, brought a performance-focused update, upgrading their front wing for Singapore. Alpine and Williams followed suit with performance-based changes, while Aston Martin and VCARB introduced updates tailored to the demands of the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Meanwhile, Haas, Stake F1, and Mercedes did not introduce any new components.
