FIA Awards Ceremony 2024: how to follow and watch it live from Kigali, Rwanda. On December 13, 2024, the FIA awards ceremony will take place.

December 13, 2024, marks the grand day of the FIA awards ceremony. To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, was chosen as the venue to honor the best in motorsport this year.

The 2024 FIA Awards ceremony has been organized in collaboration with the Rwanda Automobile Club and is supported by Rolex, Visit Rwanda, RwandAir, AlphaTauri, and Hankook.

Last year, the event was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem presenting the awards. Among the honorees, Max Verstappen celebrated his third consecutive title after a stellar season with 19 wins out of 23 races. Red Bull received the Constructors’ trophy, accepted by team principal Christian Horner.

This year, the format remains the same. The FIA Awards will honor the best from the world of Formula 1, rallying, Formula E, Endurance, Rallycross, Karting, and many others.

The FIA awards ceremony will begin at 8:00 PM local time in Rwanda and Central European Standard Time.

FIA Awards 2024: Who will be honored?
The top three Formula 1 drivers from the championship will be present at the ceremony: Max Verstappen (receiving the award for his fourth consecutive world title), Lando Norris (runner-up), and Charles Leclerc (third place).

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella is also likely to attend to accept the Constructors’ title on behalf of the team.

Special awards are expected for Oliver Bearman and Lewis Hamilton, though their presence has not yet been confirmed.
