Ten years from the incident
10 years ago, on December 29, 2013, the life of Michael Schumacher and his family changed forever, overwhelmed by the drama of the skiing accident in Méribel.
Since that day, the German champion has never appeared in public, protected by his family, which has shielded him as much as possible from the shameful speculations of a certain scandalous press. But the fans, enthusiasts, and everyone in the racing world have never left Schumacher alone, at least in thought.
Ferrari’s message
A splendid testimony is the social message published on this special day by Scuderia Ferrari. The team most closely linked to Schumacher’s sports history, who, with the Maranello team, won five of his seven world titles and 72 victories out of the 91 total in his career, wanted to affectionately send thoughts to the Kaiser.
“10 years later and always in our hearts. Keep fighting, Michael,” reads the short but significant text of the tweet, accompanied by a photo of one of the many victories achieved in red overalls by the Kerpen champion. A message certainly shared by the entire Ferrari fan base around the world and by all motorsport enthusiasts.
10 years on and always in our hearts ❤️
Keep fighting Michael 🙏 pic.twitter.com/eYKjjFEcif
